That's thunder against the enemy

Share
All right, here was "voices." Oh, how we need in Jeffersonville thousands of lived voices, the thunder of God thundering out in sweetness and holiness, purity, undefiled lives, walking around in the earth today, without a blemish. Yes, sir, real Christians, that's thunder against the enemy. The devil don't care how loud you can holler; the devil don't care how much you can jump or how much you can do this or shout. But what hurts the devil is to see that sanctified, holy life consecrated to God; say anything to him, call him anything, just as sweet as it can be and move right on. Oh, my! That throws him away, that's the thunder that shakes the devil.

That same Holy Ghost is present this morning

Share

That's the trouble with the church. We can conquer every disease. We got the power in us. We are sons and daughters of God, nothing can stand before us. Only thing, He wants to find somebody who will believe it, who will believe what God's already done for you. "Not we will be; we are now." And the ever-living Presence of the Spirit is with us. Amen. There you are.

That's what I mean when I spoke of the subject this morning, "The Ever-Present Water From The Rock." The ever-present Water from the Rock is right here now, that ever-present Water from that smitten Rock at Calvary. When that Holy Ghost came out of Him on Calvary, that come back on the church on the day of Pentecost, that same Holy Ghost is present this morning. And It's give us a promise.

That's the reason, walking before the sick people, when He commissioned me yonder, I believe it; God said so. That's how visions happen; God promised it. God can't lie.

Believe it. You got to believe it. Got to be Something there open that damper, open that thing to let you in on it. What we need today is not pray for more power. You got enough power to make a new earth. What you need is faith to use that power. What you need is to control that life, and live such a godly life, that when you ask God anything, you know. We have confidence in God, of that. We know, if we keep His commandments, He'll withhold no good thing from us if we walk with Him. God walking with us. Oh, my.

How happy

Share

Don't you stop. Don't rest, day and night, until that quickening Power has brought you from the things of the world, into the Kingdom of God. And you that truly are brought into the Kingdom of God and quickened by the Spirit of God, how happy! With tears of joy we should be on our knees, day and night, thanking God for what He's done.

Here's something to console us

Share
Here's something to console us. Here's something that encourages. Out of weakness and humility God chooses the people to build His Kingdom out of. If we ever get to heaven, if we ever stand in the Presence of God with His Church, we'll stand in a bunch of people that's been weak and rejected and cast out by the world, and know-it-nothings. Isn't it strange that God likened us to sheep? A sheep is the most helpless thing there is. There's nothing so insufficient of defense than the sheep. A rabbit can run; a squirrel can get in a tree; a dog can bite; a lion can tear; a horse can kick; a bird can fly; but a sheep stands helpless. That's the way God wants us. Realize that we are totally insufficient, then God takes that person and begins to mold Himself into that person: make his hands do what God would have hands to do, make his lips speak what God's lips would speak; because they're not his; they're God's. He begins to build a character, begins to take this weakness and to make His Own Self.

That's a sign he hasn't got you yet

Share
The Bible said, "All that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecutions." So if—if you're not suffering persecutions for Christ's sake, then there is something wrong. If the devil ain't after you, he's got you. That's all, because as long as he's after you, that's a sign he hasn't got you yet. But if he isn't after you, it's a sign he has got you. Yeah. So just remember, as long as he's blasting at you, you're a few jumps ahead of him yet, and just keep on going.

We are Christians

Share

A certain organization the other day, because that I let another minister set on the platform that didn't belong to their organization, he said, "We have drawed a line. We have drawed you out of it, Brother Branham, out of, out of our circle." I said, "I'm drawing another one, so big... take you back in again." I said, "So you just can't push me out." That's right. "I'll draw a line right over the top of yours and take you right back." See? That's for... We are brethren. "We are not divided; all one body are we." Right. We're Christians, borned of His Spirit, washed in His blood. We are Christians. We should act like Christians; we should behave ourselves like Christians, men and women. Let me tell you that that's one thing the church is lacking today, is behaving itself like Christians.

You can see God, if you just look around a little bit

Share
So I stood there and I started crying. I thought, "O great Jehovah," as I said last night, He guides my steps by His eye. So then, there He is looking. There I thought, "Yes, the sun is dying in the west; the day is over; the rainbow represents a covenant; we're at the end time." You look anywhere, and you can see God, if you just look around a little bit. You can see Him in the brother that you don't like so well, if you just look. You can see Him in the organization that you don't like, if you just look around. That's all. He—He will there, so do not worry.
