72 We got an Anchor! Some waves we can go over, some we go under, but, regardless, the, if the Anchor holds! It isn’t the ship doing the holding, it’s the anchor doing the holding. It isn’t what I am, or what I will be, or what I was, it’s what He is now, and what He did for me and you; it ain’t what I can do, it’s what He has done.

73 My faith doesn’t anchor in what the coming meetings will be, my faith doesn’t rest in only any ability that I would have, or upon what church I should join, or what people I should associate with, my faith anchors and rests, entirely, upon the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, already been received.

91 Now, don’t miss, don’t be missing that Day. Let the great chain of your family be hooked together, link by link. Let every spoke be in the wheel. Then when we sit down with our families and groups, across the canopies of Eternity, what a Day that will be! Then we’ll understand.

76 Notice what the Bible said here also, in James 16, 5:16, said, if…“Confessing our faults,” getting right, making ready for it, “confess our faults one to another.” Having no—no faults…Ask people to pray for you, confessing our faults one to another, and praying one for the other. There you are. With love, love, that I got confidence I can confess to you my wrong; and you can confess to me your wrong. And I love you well enough that I’ll pray for you, and you pray for me; and we’ll stay with it, with effectual fervent prayer, until it’s answered. That’s, that’s desperation. He will prove His Word by you

67 But Abraham didn’t stagger anywhere at all, of unbelief. He believed that God was able to perform that which He had promised, that God would prove His Word, no matter how long it took. But instead of getting weaker each time, like we are prone to do, he got stronger all the time. “If it didn’t happen today, tomorrow it will be a greater miracle, ’cause it’s one day older.” That was God, that was God in Abraham, for he knew that God proved all of His Words to be so.

If His children will only take His Word, so He can prove It by you! That’s the only way He can prove His Word.

He doesn’t prove It to unbelievers. They can’t be proved; they are unbelievers. But, It’s not to unbelievers. It’s not for unbelievers.

68 It’s to him that believes. And if He can find somebody who will believe His Word, He will prove His Word by you. And sometimes sickness and things happen to us that way, that God can prove Himself.

Do you remember the blind man that Jesus found? They said, “Who sinned, he or his father, his mother?”

69 He said, “In this case, neither, but that the works of God might be made known.” See, it happened to the boy so that Jesus could be glorified. Sometimes sickness is not a curse, it’s a blessing, that we can stick our faith out there and call those things which are not, as though they were.

We have accepted the Bible, we have accepted the great truths of it, but it still is not real to most people because the revelation by the Spirit is not there. The Word has not been quickened. The Bible says in II Corinthians 5:21 that we have become the righteousness of God by our union with Jesus Christ. Did you get it? It says that WE ARE THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD HIMSELF by being IN CHRIST. It says that He (Jesus) became SIN for us. It does not say He became sinful, but became SIN for us that by our union with Him we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. If we accept the fact (and we must) that He literally became SIN for us by His substitution for us, then we must also accept the fact that we by our union with Him have become the VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. To reject one is to reject the other. To accept the one is to accept the other. Now we know the Bible says that. It can’t be denied. But the revelation of it is missing. It is not real to the majority of God’s children. It is just a good verse in the Bible. But we need to have it made ALIVE to us. That will take revelation.

92 I said, “I know you’re not.” And I said, “I’m not, either.” But I said, “You’re looking at what you are. And quit looking at what you are, and look what He is.”

He said, “If I could just get rid of these cigarettes, Brother Branham, I—I—I would be a Christian.”

93 I said, “Don’t get rid of them. You’re trying to get good and then come to Him. He never come to save good man; He come to save bad man that knowed they were bad.”

95 I said, “There you go, back to that cigarette again. Quit thinking about that cigarette. Just remember, think about Him, what He did, what He is; not what you are. You’re no good; and you never was, and never will be. But, what He is, He’s the One!” And I said, “Now, the only one thing you have to do; if He took your place down there, you just willingly accept what He did. Only thing you have to do is just accept it.”

“Why,” he said, “that’s simple. I’ll do that.”

96 I said, “Here is the creek.” See? I brought him up here and baptized him in the Name of Jesus Christ.
